I backed YeaPaw on kickstarter and was thrilled my cat took to it instantly. He’s always had a fountain but the slime and the plastic water bases started to skeeve me out.

After a month, it was time for the first filter change. My cat has refused to touch the fountain since. Have any other YeaPaw users experienced this?

I purchased the KittySpout and he took a drink immediately but I really loved the look and concept of the YeaPaw and hate that I wasted my money and time on something I have no choice but to toss. I have a feeling the replacement filters are faulty. The water in the fountain was cloudy and looked thick.
