My family and i just used a new brush on my cat and it works amazingly, i took out a massive ball of hair. But what i noticed was this patch of fur on his back. Its very coarse, like horse hair or fur of a wirehair dog. Its also quite thin and you can easily see his skin. As i showed in the video, the hair on the rest of his body is thick and soft.

Is this normal? Is it some sort of condition i should take care of? Our cat is only 5 years old and is neutered. We have just moved to Spain a few months ago, so we don’t have a vet yet, but if its highly recommended then we could find one. Thank you everyone!
