I’m doing some data collection on the rise of fake/ghost job listings.

Like most of you, I’m sick of seeing the same “Urgent Hire” postings stay up for 6+ months while everyone I know gets ghosted or at BEST hit with an automated rejection 30 days later.

There is plenty of talk about why it happens (PP loans, looking “growing” for investors, etc.), but not enough data on who is doing it.

I want to track the companies that keep listings active indefinitely without actually making hires.

If you’ve encountered a job that you’re 99% sure is a ghost job, please drop the details below. I’m specifically looking for roles that are constantly “re-posted” on LinkedIn/Indeed but never move to an interview stage.
