I cant forgive myself and its eating me alive. My cat was rushed to the vet sunday morning, I woke up to him breathing heaver than normal and acting weird, I lost two cats prior to heart failure so I knew this was an emergency. They vet says he had fluid in his lungs and said it was NCPE Noncardiogenic pulmonary edema. They said the causes were choking, or electrocution or strangling or truama. The night before jasper got sick he was totally fine, I made chicken and I normally give him some little peices like I always do, he ate and seemed compelety fine. Im trying to understand what happened here, how did he die? If he choked i would have noticed it? There is nothing he could have been electrocuted from because he doesnt chew cords. Nothing is making sense, why did he die? Did a peice od chicken truly take my cat out?? This has been the most unbareable pain ive evwr had to go through. Has anyone else cat ever had this?.he was only 5 , help me make sense of this because i cant live with myself
