My uncle recently passed away and he has an elderly, maybe 12 years old, yorkie-chihuahua mix boy. He’s a very sweet and small dog and loves people, but with my uncle gone he’s going to be in the care of another uncle who works and my grandparents who don’t interact with him much. I’d love to bring my kitten around him so he has someone to hang out with, but when they met when she was really little she hated him. When she was around two months old, I brought her to my grandparents house where my uncle lives to pick something up. She was in her kennel and I set her on the ground and when the dog got near her she started hissing and jumping at the walls to try to get at him. She’s eight months old now and they haven’t seen each other since. I need advice on how to introduce them because I’m afraid she won’t like him.
