Got laid off end of January of 2025, applied to 500+ jobs across Linkedin, indeed, glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, reached out to recruiters, hiring managers, applied on company websites, and by god I lost all hope.

Then a friend of mine told me about a position that would be part time but paid well enough that I dont go into more debt, he made some calls created an opportunity and I got that job. Then an engineering job that I had applied to, did the technical interview for, and the HR interview FINALLY, after 6 months, sent me a tentative offer.

For some background I have a BSME and in a MSME program atm. To everyone still looking for a job, spam the shit out of your friends to get a position, the tentative offer used up all my luck for the next 5 years.
