This is Remy (tabby) and Obsidian (black) Obsidian is an outside cat that the cat distribution service has blessed us with, for the past two weeks we’ve let them smell eachother through the door crack, and the past couple days we’ve let Obsidian come in for short 5 minute visits, removing Obsidian if they start to get uncomfortable. Minimal issues Remy has hissed a couple times through the crack and once during a 5 minute visit but otherwise has been really calm. Whenever Remy has hissed Obsidian immediately backs off and gives Remy space. Remy is definitely a confident and dominant cat while Obsidian seems more docile. What is the body language going on here? Is this going well? We’re taking Obsidian to the vet on Monday to check for illness before progressing any further as well as getting another litter box. Let me know your observations and thoughts! Thank you
