My parents have four cats that live together and always have. One spayed female, three neutered males. Never had any issues.

Today the largest male has been chasing and bullying the female all day according to my parents. He’s been known to try to mount one of the other males.

She’s been hiding most of the day according to my parents, and hissing and growling when he approaches. But aside from chasing her, they say they haven’t seen him do anything. She’s sitting next to me now and has clearly urinated on herself at some point as her back legs are damp and she smells like urine.

Any ideas on what could cause this? She’s clearly on edge.

Female is approximately 11 or 12 years old, the male who’s been bothering her is approximately 8-9.

I live in a separate household.
