I adopted the most adorable, loving, affectionate kitty I have ever met last Saturday (1 week ago) from the humane society. They told me to watch for upper respiratory infection signs. The first few days, he was fine. But Wednesday night he started sneezing. Thursday, he got really bad with the sneezing. I took him to my regular vet Friday and they didn’t seem too concerned, but gave him an antibiotic with a follow-up this coming Friday. He has been like this video for 2 days. Is this normal for this illness? Also, I do give him steam in bathroom 2x a day and he does still purr and makes plenty of biscuits ❤️ (No discharge yet, except clear when he sneezes a lot)

I’m so sad for him. I’m just hoping somebody here has seen this before and can tell me this is normal and that I should stop worrying myself silly…
