My fiancée and I have a tripod kitty who had their leg amputated late last year. He’s up and moving around a lot more now and lately I’ve noticed his poops near the box or in the office. We have 3 litter boxes and im wondering if this has anything to do with his amputation or if hes just protesting or otherwise?

Hes never done this before and this is new behavior.
