Howdy yall

My wife and I just bought a house. There isnt really a good place for the litter box to go aside from the garage. So I bought a cat door and cut a hole in the garage door to install it. Ive shown our cat where it is by carrying her and taught her how to use the cat door. She has successfully used the cat door several times to come inside when ive brought her into the garage to teach her. But shes peed on our bed and today she pooped on our son’s bed. Ive showed her the location of the litter box several times now and shes used the cat door several times to come back inside but she still hasn’t used the litter box. Any ideas?
