Hey everyone, my fiancé and I have a 5 year old spayed female calico named Patches, and we recently brought home an 8 month old spayed female tuxedo kitten, Squeak. We followed the proper introduction process, keeping them separated for a few weeks before slowly letting them interact.
At the beginning, Patches would hiss and growl at Squeak, which we expected. Over time, though, they’ve gotten to a point where they can coexist peacefully and even eat side by side regularly. Given that progress, I’m trying to understand what we’re seeing now. Does this look like normal play, or is Patches just setting boundaries, or possibly crossing into bullying behavior toward Squeak?
Any help is appreciated!
Also, it looks like the three videos I uploaded were combined into a single clip, just a heads up for anyone taking a look to help.
