“Send me your resume” she said, A year or so ago a family friend asked for my resume. In retrospect only in front of a different family friend at least 4 times. I was immediately ghosted. 9 months later, she called my work’s phone number (not my cellphone or email) the general number you can get off the web. Asks to speak to me and says there’s a job opening and not five minutes later calls again and asks if I’m gonna apply. I emailed HR (cc’d her) and applied via company’s website was ghosted by their HR and not even an automated rejection after applying via company’s website. A note to myself I should have never sent the resume to this pushy person who enjoyed ghosting me and lying that email was sent to spam. Moral of the story 1) pushy people are gross and I have reason to believe he was just using it as gossip fodder against me. 2) never send your resume to a personal email 3) I’ve since used a blank password protected pdf “resume” for the gossips they were never gonna help me anyway. And she asked what my bra size was when we bumped into each other at a store. Network they say but your network is filled with creeps, liars, toxic gossips, pushy people.
