we’ve been feeding this female cat in our shed for a few weeks (stray) she looked pregnant so we were able to trap her and brought her inside and she’s been staying in my brothers old room for about a little over a week. we put a bed in there, food, water, litter box, and some toys for her just incase she were to have babies.

she was acting weird last night so i stayed with her for about an hour until she started going into active labor. she had 1 kitten, it looks healthy, it’s crying, moving and eating from her. she is doing fine, she’s eating, drinking, using litter box, and acting completely normal, purring and letting us pet her. but her belly feels hard still, i can’t seem to feel any babies moving and her belly definitely got visibly smaller since she birthed 1 out but im having fear that there’s more in her and it’s been a whole day without more kittens.

me / my family really cannot afford to take her to the doc to get it figured out and i’m nervous. we called multiple vets and explained our story and they won’t see her without an insane amount of money being paid BEFORE her visit. maybe im just anxious bc this is all new to me but can anyone please help. any similar experiences or advice is insanely appreciated 🩷
