I posted awhile ago about my cat who would have these episodes where she would scream and howl, running around the house and biting her back. A couple times bad enough that when I tried to comfort her she bit me. I finally got in to a really good vet who diagnosed her with arthritis based on a physical assessment (saved me $$$ on a needless X-ray). She prescribed a 6-8 week injection medication, and ever since then my 11 year old cat acts like she’s 4 again. No more episodes, running around playfully like she used to, cuddly and friendly again.

I just wanted to share because it’s almost brought me to tears seeing her suffer and finally she’s pain-free and happy again. Cat tax in comments.
