Hi all. I’m just here to ask if any of you know what these little black spots on my cat’s ears are. They’ve kinda been gradually appearing, and she’s about 12, a spry indoor-only cat named Twinkle. She is very loved by myself and my roommates.

These spots aren’t raised, FYI, they’re completely flat and they seem purely cosmetic. If there was anything raised like ear mites (?), I’d of funraised however way I can and taken her to the vet immediately. But since they just look like that and she smells normal, nose wetness is normal & she doesn’t have any sick behaviors, I haven’t been too worried. PLUS, she’s indoor, so I don’t know how she would’ve gotten those.

I figured this might be an “ask Reddit” situation because I am also not very financially stable right now.

What do y’all think? She spends a lot of time in the sun and under blankets, also, very cuddly hence the second picture. :-)
