I’m adopting a cat next month and i understand everything except feeding!!
He’s a male adult cat (4-6) years. Neutered. I don’t know his weight. The shelter currently feeds him kibble.
I’ve heard that “the worst wet food is better than the best dry food” so I was planning on an all wet food diet (for daily meals at least). Is this a healthy choice? What should I be looking for on the ingredients list? How do I know how much to feed my cat?
Is it okay if I feed my cat 2 meals a day? How do I know what cans are meant to be eaten as a full meal and not an “add-on”?
Everywhere I look people are contradicting each other 😭 I just want to make sure my cat will be healthy.
