My cat just vomited light yellow liquid. First time pet owner freaking out!
I recently adopted a kitten 4 months old from a shelter. I’m keeping him on the exact same food that the shelter mentioned.

He has been very loving and playful in our house after having spent 2 days here now.

He eats half the amount of food the shelter mentioned on his card

He ate 2 bites of a solid treat he was NOT used to so far.

He vomited multiple times within a 2 minute window in the morning and then again in the afternoon (less than morning)
It’s a weekend today and I’m freaking out and considering whether we need to seek emergency vet or not. Most places we called said it’s not a major concern but seeing a cat vomit is a very new experience and my heart is breaking and I’m feeling guilty whether we are doing something wrong. He also yowls and meows right after food every time so I’m not sure if the food itself is not sitting right with him. Again, this food is the same that the shelter has been feeding him for months apparently.
