My cat has had a reduced appetite lately. She’s 3 years old and was diagnosed with asthma when we adopted her in July. This started maybe 3-4 days ago. She eats her breakfast completely and then by lunch time she’ll start grazing on her kibble and won’t have it finished by the time dinner comes around. Her disposition hasn’t seemed to change, if anything she’s been more affectionate lately. We have always been consistent with her food schedule and what brand she eats. She goes to the bathroom as often as she normally does. The only significant change was that we bought an automatic feeder two months ago for her dry food. I’m planning on making a vet appointment for her tomorrow for an annual checkup but I’m starting to worry and hope that this is not a serious medical problem that’s being displayed.
