Hello, I have an almost 4 year old cat and he’s very messy with his food and water bowls. He keeps spilling both all over the floor, with the issue being particularly bad with the water. He also has this really bad habit of dipping his paws in the water and licking it off his feet instead of just drinking it out of the bowl like normal. I have no idea why he does this, because he’ll do it immediately after I clean the bowl and give him fresh water too, so it can’t be because it’s too dirty.

I need to know what are the best kinds of bowls to get for cats with habits like mine? I need something where they won’t ever mix with each other by accident either, since he absolutely refuses to drink water that he flicked a piece of food into.
