so… like about two months ago i moved to another city to study/do an internship… right now i’m staying at my girlfriend’s place because i haven’t started working yet (and that’s the only way i’d be able to afford rent on my own).

because of that i still haven’t been able to bring my cat with me… also my girlfriend has two cats and mine is superantisocial, so there’s no way that would work out right now :(

so she stayed back in my hometown, and since it’s pretty far i’ve only been able to come back like once a month…

i used to spend time away before when i’d go visit my girlfriend, but it was never this long or consistent… now it’s different, i’m gone for way longer stretches…

anyway, this time when i got home she acted really weird around me… like kinda cautious, avoiding me a bit… i don’t really know what to do!!!

my mom’s been sleeping with her so she doesn’t feel alone, and now it kinda feels like she’s choosing my mom over me too.

but at the same time she’s not aggressive or anything, she just keeps her distance a bit… and yesterday she actually slept with me

so yeah… i’m kinda confused about what she’s feeling and if i’m doing something wrong or not.

what should i do to keep her close to me?
