Right now she’s calmed down and I’m feeding her some tuna, but she’s been crying nonstop ever since she woke up and tries running away, she hissed and bit me several times. The vet said analgesics aren’t necessary but this doesn’t seem normal! I had to take off her cone because she kept using her behind legs and I was afraid she’d open the stitches. Please give me your best advice for caretaking, should I see another vet?? My first cat didn’t suffer this way but I took her with a different vet at the time.

Note: she’s actually my partner’s cat but I’m taking care of her rn, I wasn’t there during the surgery so I’ll make sure to ask anything in case it’s necessary.
