Hello everyone!! So for context: my father works for an asphalt company, and when he comes from work he’ll leave his clothes and shoes somewhere in the living room.

Now, my girl (5yrs old) is a very gentle cat and she’s quite skittish, too! She doesn’t like being around most people except for me. But she’s feral for asphalt?? She loves it and I have no idea why!!

She’ll cuddle my dad’s work shoes and try to put her head in them?? (She doesn’t mess with my father nor his stuff any other time! Just when he works.) I’ve even caught her a few times trying to get inside the legs of his work pants. Is there an explanation for this?? Is my cat just weird?? I have another cat who couldn’t care less about my father’s dirty work clothes, so what’s making my other cat crave it??
