Someone dumped a kitten at our house in December of 2025. It appeared to be about 4 weeks old at the time. So we took it in and it lived inside with us until yesterday 4/19/26 . He was a very active cat and got into everything. Yesterday morning I opened the door and he ran outside , we live in the middle of the woods with no neighbors and we have two outside cats. We’ll 4 hours later I find him laying in the yard dead. No sign of trauma. It was like he laid down and died. What could of happened? My wife is so upset
