Moving cross country in a few months. Have two bonded senior cats. 15 and 16 years old. Driving. Likely in one RV or 2 vehicles. They are strictly indoor cats. We’re thinking of shipping cars and renting an RV to make the trip easier for the 4 of us. That may not work out, planning for both scenarios at this time.
How do I get the cats prepped? Should they travel together or with different drivers? What’s the food, litter, water situation. How long is too long in a crate/travel box?
The trip will take 2 days or so as.
Cats are already on some fluoxetine as one had some out in of the box issues in her past.
Any advice is welcome.
