I work in the apparel industry, focusing heavily on design, production, and technical development. I’ve recently applied for a product dev role out of Dallas – interviewed with the recruiter, then the product dev director, then the product dev manager. All interviews went really well, and the role is well within my wheelhouse of experience. I was reached out to by the recruiter last Wednesday to let me know that the Dev Director was looking to set me up with a final call with another one of her colleagues. Two days later, I got an email thanking me for applying to the job which I had been interviewing for. When I reached out to the recruiter, he said to disregard, and that he had to move me to another hiring REQ for continued consideration. Today, the following Monday, I reached out with a follow-up, to which he replied

“Hi! You’re still in consideration for the role. We do have a few candidates going through the process right now, but we appreciate your continued interest. I’ll plan to check back with you on Wednesday. Thanks!”

I feel like there was a lot of forward momentum in the beginning, and now it feels stalled. Does it seem like I’m getting phased out, or is this typical?
