I few months ago my <1 year old kitten passed and the emergency vet thought it was related to him having FeLV. He gave my approximately 2 year old cat FeLV and hes been fine but he definitely missing having a buddy around the house.

I know there is a vaccine for FeLV and I wanted to know what others experiences with it are. A friend needs to rehome this beautiful cat around 2 years old that doesn’t have any diseases and I really want to bring her home. But more than anything I want to do what is responsible for both.

They will both be indoor cats solely and have their own hidey holes, etc. Your opinions on this would help a lot even after all the research I’ve done about the disease itself.
