I have two cats, one is really shy and skittish (gray tabby).

My other cat (tux) is exceptionally comfortable. Lays down whereever, will walk up and sit right beside me on the couch. Lately (over the past two months) this one has been way more needy than usual. She has an appointment coming up soon, so I’m going to see if there is anything out of the oridinary, but in the interrim, she has been waking me up anywhere from 4-6 times throughout the night (normally its more like 1-2), walking up and screaming in my face. She also has been demanding twice the amount of attention as normal and has decided to increase her average talking volume. She has food and water. Her box is clean. She has toys. I pet and groom her. Does anyone know what this is about? Do I need to just increase play time before going to sleep, or is there anything additional I could be doing. I’m so tired lol.
