I’m a returning employee to a private company called DRC, which among other things scores end-of-year student exams. I was even told that my start date would be for the 20th of April by a recruiting agency called BCForward. That was at the beginning of the month. Then, on the week before I was meant to start, I was told that since I was ‘already’ a DRC employee, they would contact me about available work directly. They then said there was no available work at this time. I don’t know if scoring is already started, but I’m really upset about how this is happening. I’ve made sure that I was available by quitting my other job, and I have prior experience in this exact job. Can anyone shed some light on the situation?
