I wanted to ask about your experience with how long it takes to hear back after applying.

I left my previous job on April 6 because I had a job lined up, but unfortunately the offer was withdrawn. Since then, I’ve been applying through staffing agencies and company websites.

Last Thursday, a staffing recruiter reached out and submitted my application, saying they would update me. But I haven’t heard anything yet, and I’m starting to feel really anxious about how long this process usually takes.

For those of you who have gone through this recently, how long did it take to get a response after applying? Is it normal to wait this long after a recruiter submits your application?

Any insight would really help. Thank you.
