We rescued this little man in Feb 2024 at 2.3 pounds. We quickly got him up to 6 pounds where he stayed the rest of his life. He had some bad arthritis, matter hair, and the special ability to poop on his feet twice per day like clockwork. We loved and cared for him so much but last Tuesday, after several days of not eating, we discovered that he had really aggressive cancer on the left side of his mouth, a large black hole leading up to his eyeball, and that was why his left eye was leaking recently. We opted to see if we could give him a bit of QoL before putting him down since he loved being outdoors so much and we were so close to nice weather, but his condition rapidly deteriorated starting Friday so we decided the best thing to do was to put him down today. He went peacefully and pain free into kitty heaven where he is going to be everyone’s best friend. If you’ve ever lost a cat before just know today they are going to be meeting another best friend in Casper.
