I posted here last week, asking how you know its time. since then he’d only gotten worse. i spent the last few days entirely with him, when he stopped walking completely. All he did was meow on my bed with me until i’d pet him.

the vet said they didnt know what was wrong , but he was very sick and probably suffering. They said that they doubted he would even make it through the night. when i adopted him three years ago he was 18 pounds. today, he was just 7. they said that the euthanasia would take 60-90 seconds, but he passed in less than 10. He was definitely ready.

i think he definitely knew it was his time, though. i just wish i’d had the money to do it sooner. so he wouldnt have had to suffer quite so much
