I was really excited on Friday to get an email from them, tentatively hopeful it wasn’t a scam given a few errors in the email, but I did apply on their website that I verified was legit (ie. Not using the link on LinkedIn and going to their website myself). It also wouldn’t be the first time an email had an error in it but was legit, so I cannot say that’s hard proof.
So, I got the email for the interview at 8:35 am. I replied around lunch time at 12:03 pm, confirming my availability. The next day I checked my spam folder since I do check it relatively often for things since I am actively applying and noticed that I got the no-reply email that same day at 11:56 am. So, in less than 4 hours I got an invitation and then rejection. This would have also been before I even sent my confirmation email.
Did I not respond fast enough? Was it a mistake? Which one was a mistake, if it was a mistake?
I sent an email today, Monday, asking for clarification. I haven’t gotten a response for a time for the interview nor a response for my clarification email. This all leads me to believe that I am, in fact, not getting this interview.
Please don’t mess with my feelings like this? At least respond and say it was a mistake (whichever one was a mistake at this point). I have been looking for work for awhile now and scammers already get my blood boiling, I don’t need this too.
(Also sorry if the screenshots are done weird, it’s easier to edit on my phone, but that also can make them look messy.)
