I feel silly posting this, but I’m having pre-period sadness and despair

I just got a cat, he’s 3 years old, black with some white patches, and is very sweet. I have one qualm. He wants to sleep on my legs

If it was a short nap it would be different, but I move around a lot during the night. Imagine a rotisserie chicken, that’s me. I have a system for it and everything, especially since I’m in a college funded apartment with a twin sized bed. I cannot stand not being able to move my legs.

At first he slept next to me, now he insists on being on me. It’s very cute, and he’s so polite and tolerant of me moving around. But he’s still an extra weight and presence and it’s driving me crazy

I feel bad, I don’t want to hurt his little kitty feelings, I don’t want him to feel rejected when I JUST got him. He’s being so nice abt it 😭😭😭 how do I nicely remove him without hurting his feelings? I liked it when he was next to me not ON me 🙏😭
