Y’all… I’ve seen many videos online about people finding out that their male cats are females through kittens. I never thought I’d find myself in that situation…😭 I woke up and saw my mom with the biggest smile she had in a while. Everyone is feeling happy… But I have… Let’s say…mixed feelings about it. As someone who ABSOLUTELY loves kittens and would’ve k*lled to get my hands on one a few years back, I’m feeling… Sad. Maybe it’s the shock from the gender reveal. We were originally gonna get him neutered (spayed) soon but it seems like we’re a bit late… 😶. But overall, I’m feeling overwhelmed and I’m not feeling the happiness I should feel right now as I cannot imagine the pain she went through while giving birth (it was midnight and we were all asleep) and when I tell you she had the smallest belly to the point that we didn’t know she was pregnant 😭😭 !!! (We did visit the vet a couple of times before the pregnancy for vaccinations but not once did we think to ask the doctor about his gender ) The guilt I have is really bad and I just cannot feel the happiness because, for me, it’s like finding out that your teenage daughter was pregnant and now has 2 kids 😰. I got my baby girl when she was just 2 months old (she randomly appeared in front of my house one morning) and now she’s 11 months old and it’s eating me alive to think that my cute little baby is now a mom… like… she’s the baby, how can babies have babies ??😵💫. Okay… She’s now a proud mother to two babies and she always wants either me or my mom with her and the babies 24/7 … Any type of advice is welcome… and please be aware that I don’t have much knowledge caring for growing kittens as my baby was an independent king 😙… (well, a queen now) from the day he arrived. And don’t mind me switching between the pronouns, it’s because I haven’t fully digested the fact that my baby boy is a baby girl 🥲. so please, anything that you can share is valuable… ♥️
