its an AI assisted recruiter for manufacturing companies and apparently every staffing agency and their grandma just started using it. I’ve gotten the same copy and past message from 50 companies in my area it always starts with

“Hi [applicant name]! I saw your experience [resume summery]. [staffing agency name] has an opening for a [open position in {city,state]. It is a [position type, insert shift role paying $X per hour]. Your background in [secondary resume summery] would be great for [Partial job description]. Would you like more details?”

they are flooding my inbox with transcripts of every text from a unique generated email. if you respond they also send you emails of your responses from a separate generated email. if you ignore them the also send several “I’m Checking back” follow up messages.

the tend to pretend to be real people claiming to be "one of the assistant recruiters at [insert company name] if you ask them anything about themselves. and if you call them a bot or ai their responses range from admitting to being one, to calling out your skepticism before ultimately ending the conversation by saying they will pass your notes along to a senior recruiter before no longer responding to your messeges

so far none of the companies that have reached out to me in this manner have ever actual gotten back to me with a “senior recruiter” and id be under the assumption that this was just a new wave of scam bots if i hadn’t been been directed to staffing agencies that use this system by HR personal from a few company’s I reached out to directly looking for work.

at this point i just call them bots so they end the conversation as soon as possible.
