Hi All,

How many days usually it takes to get an offer letter after final interview for a data engineer position. So i have given series of 5 interviews, an assessment and a end to end take home assignment. The last interview was on March 26 and received positive feedback from the recruiter. Then i completed my reference on April 3 and on 8th, recruiter said she would get back early next week and i sent her a follow up email and she called me on 13th and said i have to wait for 2 more weeks for the next steps. I mean what next steps, I have already cleared all rounds after rigorous rounds.

Their head of data said she loved the interview and the manager to be message that they are looking forward to having me onboard. That’s why i got my hopes up.

What do you think? Will the offer come? or she is making a fool out of me? Am i being paranoid? Is it normal in product based comapnies?

P.S. I started reapplying last week after her waiting for 2 more weeks remark.
