TL;DR - I am planning to take my 11-yr old cat to the vet for this, but I’m trying to determine if this warrants a trip to the emergency vet.

Today, my 11 yr old boy (cat) didn’t eat his breakfast, which is very unusual. Instead, he just meandered to his litter box. Afterwards, I found these small (slightly bigger than a cat’s paw) puddles that look like they might be urine with blood? (BTW, this is on the plastic sheet I keep on the floor under the litter boxes. There was appx the same amount in the litter box, but it didn’t really show up on camera.)

Otherwise, he’s acting fairly normal. He’s currently in his bed, and when I checked on him, he started purring.

And last night, he was as spunky and playful as ever, FWIW.

Does this warrant an emergency vet visit?
