My cat Ralph (to note he is about 9-11 years old, has a missing right leg, and is deaf. So I guess technically special needs but he’s chillin) refuses to pee inside his litter box lately. He will poop in the litter box, goes on his own, and has had no trouble before. But lately for some reason he keeps peeing just outside the box. I usually keep their box in a little cabinet they can walk in and thought maybe that was an issue so I took it out, but no, still peeing just outside of it. He’ll go in it to poop no problem, but just won’t pee inside of it. He won’t go anywhere else in the house nor has had any accidents elsewhere. Hes eating and drinking normally and acting normal. Anyone have advice or have gone through this before?
