My 4 year old cat just started doing this and I’m unsure if a vet trip is required. He has some gum-related issues and some of his teeth were extracted as well. Also, his did the little twitching thing on his left ear and I managed to get it cleaned and since then no issues.

He is otherwise very active and is eating well too. Poop/pee is fine as well. Got him a water fountain and he is drinking from there.

Did any of you have cats that did this? Or familiar with this? He is now watching some birds and his fur doesn’t do the stuff it does in the video btw. Normal breathing too.
