Hi! I’ve done some research on different websites, and I know that nobody has an exact answer! But I just wanted to ask around and see what other cat parents think.
My 4 month old kitten weighs 5 pounds and from what i understand, she should be eating around 327 kcal a day.
The three cans of cat food I choose from range from 56 kcal to 100 kcal.
As of right now for my 4 month old;
Morning: 1/2 wet food with a sprinkle of dry food (around 75 kcal)
Midday: 1 can wet food (87 kcal)
Evening: 1/2 wet food (50 kcal)
Evening: 1 can wet food (87 kcal)
Night: 1 tbsp dry food (25 kcal)
For my 10 month old (not sure how much he weighs right now);
Morning: 1 can wet food (87 kcal)
Evening: 1 can wet food (100 kcal)
Night: 1 can wet food (87 kcal)
+ 1-1.5 tbsp of dry food to one of those meals
And soon I’ll start transitioning to adult food because right now they’re eating the same food.
