I have two cats who for the first 3 years of there’re life were barn cats however last year after learning how dangerous the outdoors are to cats I moved them to indoor only which I have loved most of the time however they won’t stop peeing outside of the litter box!!!

The bathtub has been a favorite spot so I deep cleaned it with vinegar and filled it with tinfoil and that seemed to make them stop but this morning I caught one of them trying to pee in the floor vent 🫠

The litter boxes get scooped twice a day and I use pine pellets since they try to eat anything else 😅

Why are they doing this? How can I stop it?

My parents have brought up putting them back I the barn so I am getting desperate for a solution
