I currently have a 2 year old British shorthair in my 58m2 apartment and I’m wondering whether I should get her a buddy. I currently only work from home once a week and I feel bad about leaving her home alone all that time. It always seems like she’s content, but I still feel bad.

I’m also worried about them not having enough space as not all rooms are accessible to my cat at all times. In addition to the worry of them not getting along. Might it be best in the long run since it may be harder for her to adjust if she’s older by the time I move into a larger place?
