I’m not asking for medical advice just some reassurance…My girl Kaa got her yearly check up yesterday. She gets extremely anxious in the car, yowling, panting etc. the vet suggested I try a test run with the pregablin liquid compound and I know this sounds dumb but I’m scared about giving it to my kitty because it’ll make her sleepy and I’m worried she will equate the medication I gave her to the sedation she will feel for the trip and that she will trust me less. Am I being silly? Her health and well being comes before how I feel and I don’t want her stressed in the car so I’m going to give it to her of course but I’m just worried she will become fearful of me after. She’s 8 years old but still acts like a kitten and I worry about her still being scared on the drive even with medication.
