Hi there,

Our cat has lost 1 pound in the past ten days.

He is 6 and has lost interest in food.

We went to the vet today and waiting for blood work results to come back (could be 2 days).

He asks like he’s hungry but won’t eat.

Still coming around but not fully himself.

I’m hoping this is treatable but we lost another cat around the same age from cancer so we have ptsd.

Currently I’m trying to get him to eat.

Suggestions on getting him to try eat?

Could this just be ibd?
