Been unemployed since end of February. And last Thursday I interviewed for a role. It was weird because I didn’t think I did that well but an hour later they contacted me to let me know they really liked me and made it seem like they really wanted to hire me.

They asked me to fill out a form with three references and everything. Told me all about who I would answer to when I started working that they needed to fill the role as soon as possible. Etc.

Friday I send back my form with my references, one of my references lets me know they got in touch with them nothing from the others. And i had a few more calls Friday with the company to answer my questions regarding company processes… they said they would get in touch with me next week to answer questions about hybrid or not, salary etc.

We’re Tuesday now and nothing.

I’m still very new to the job market and how everything works, how much time it takes but I don’t know I saw that they reposted the role on Monday so I don’t feel good about it.
