Hey y’all! I have 2 cats, a 5 year old and a 2 year old, both male. They’ve been living together for the past 1.5 years. Last night I had to take the 2 year old to the emergency er vet (he’s gonna be ok!🩷), and ever since we got back the 5 year old has been hissing and growling at the 2 year old. The last time he ever did this was when I first brought him home and they were adjusting to each other. Did the 5 year old suddenly decide he no longer likes my 2 year old? Or is this probably temporary and will go away? I don’t like it because they usually both cuddle with me all day but the 2 year old has been scared ever since coming back from the vet and the 5 year old isn’t helping.
