My cat has super fluffy paws (like little snow boots), but he is an absolutely terrible groomer. The problem is he gets litter stuck between his toes and tangled in the long fur on his paws… and it just stays there.
I’ve tried to help him, but he will NOT let anyone touch his paws. Not me, not a groomer, he goes straight to biting and scratching the second you try.
I’m worried about buildup and hygiene, but I’m kind of stuck since he’s basically declared his paws a notouch zone.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Any tips for managing litter getting stuck in long paw fur, or ways to safely handle a cat that refuses paw handling?
Appreciate any advice 🙏
