We have an old cat that was diagnosed with Diabetes last year and in the last couple of years, he’s been peeing A LOT. Like I’m scooping all the time and can’t stop the pee from caking into a clay at the bottom of the litter box.

Would an automatic litter box solve my problem? Looking to hear from anyone that has experience with a diabetic cat that pees a lot and how automatic/robot litter boxes worked for them.

I’m worried that the litter caking will be too rapid for the robot to keep up, or that I’ll be stuck washing the parts every other day or something.
