My parents cats don’t seem to like me. At all.

One will actively stalk and attack me and the other will hide as though I’m a threat.

It’s been almost 3 years now. No improvement.

But they’ll happily tolerate my presence if I bring treats. They’ll even give me a few seconds of love after they’ve eaten.

I’ve had to cat sit several times in the past too. And even after days, their behaviour toward me doesn’t change.

Why?

I’ve done nothing but give them space and feed them.
